Upon examination, the medical team diagnosed Sandhya with bullous impetigo, a bacterial skin infection characterized by large, fluid-filled blisters. No medical reports were available from prior consultations.

The treatment plan focused on local care of the lesions. The primary recommendations included careful cleaning of the affected area and the application of a topical ointment to manage the infection and alleviate symptoms.

Additionally, to prevent further infections, Sandhya was advised to bath in clean water, not stagnant water. Her mother received counselling on the importance of these measures, as well as guidance on maintaining a healthy diet for Sandhya.

Regular follow-up visits were scheduled to monitor Sandhya’s progress. Through consistent care and adherence to the treatment plan, Sandhya’s condition improved, and she was eventually cured of the infection.

Sandhya’s mother was grateful for the services provided by the MHU. The timely and effective intervention not only cured Sandhya but also educated the family on preventive healthcare practices.
